Created in January 2019, KeyGeni has been 6 years in the making. This Started with initial evening discussions from industry experts about where the markets could be improved utilising new technologies and raising standards.
Following successful ventures elsewhere the directors of KeyGeni came back together in 2019 and bring to the market solutions tailored for these challenging industries.
Our Managing Director brings a wealth of insurance experience to the business. For 19 years he has worked across multiple disciplines within the insurance sector. Having worked for AXA Insurance, Primary Group, Imperial Consultants and latterly having created Virtus Validations he has seen the demands of the supply chain both from the buyer and seller perspectives. He has been responsible for overseeing the internal operations, including Technical Claim Handlers, Administration Handlers, HR, Customer Care and Finance. Involved in introducing new clients through development and delivery of the service proposition, through to integrating new clients into the existing framework. He has overseen and been heavily involved in year on year growth through consistent delivery of services offered along with service level agreement adherence. A member of both the CII and CILA Daniel actively promotes professional and ethical growth from his team.
Our Technical Director has an enviable mix of experience across the construction, surveying and insurance sectors going back 30 years. He has a keen eye for detail having spent over 15 years in Construction and Building quality control. Within the insurance industry, he has held Director/Senior technical roles in both Imperial Consultants and latterly Cunningham Lindsey and Sedgwick again spanning 15 very successful years. This unique blend of cross industry experience lends itself so well to the role he now fulfils. He has methodically fostered and maintained long term relationships with the best quality Insurance surveyors in the UK, many of whom are now loyal friends and not just colleagues. He has an expert level knowledge of building and surveying, this is allied with his many years of developing and training UK wide field surveyors/inspectors to exacting standards. He is responsible for all technical training across the business and provides the senior technical reference point to insurer clients and their internal teams. He has assisted the customer care departments of clients in dispute resolution. He designed, developed and delivered training courses across the main disciplines, all of which have been accredited and accepted by the Chartered Insurance Institute. He regularly meets with industry figureheads to gauge trends and to continually develop and drive forward the technical abilities of the work force to ensure regulatory and contractual obligations are always surpassed. He is a driver of change and is receptive to new ideas and is always striving to streamline and improve processes. He is a member of CILA, CIOB and MIOR.
Our IT Director has over 20 years experience in IT services and support. Having worked in a number of IT businesses before creating and developing two new IT businesses, he can now be seen as the owner of CNi Solutions, based in Manchester. This IT support business will ensure that KeyGeni has round the clock and instant, on-site, IT assistance.
KeyGeni are bringing to market, new and disruptive cutting edge technology and CNi Solutions have been instrumental in making that happen. With an ever changing and evolving market vast experience of aPaas (Application platform as a service), or simply Paas (platform as a service), cloud computing service models, along with software as a service will enable KeyGeni to continue to innovate.
After forging a career in institutional finance, working throughout the international markets in both front and back office finance houses; Martin has developed a diverse skill set, sitting on the boards of several businesses, such as Agile Automations, a Robotic Process Automations business and Cni Solutions, a complete technology support partner to SME clients, as well as businesses in the sectors of fashion, health & leisure, security, marketing and event management. Martin also sits on the board of Walford Cunningham and Hayes, a venture capital and advisory firm.
Within KeyGeni Martin is responsible for the strategic development of the business and identifying key technology development opportunities for our clients, utilising the latest technological advances.
We have assembled a team of industry experts, with a combined experience of some 80 years across a diverse number of businesses and in particular the specialist Insurance validation sector. This team wants to support the insurance market in their pursuit of fair and transparent services where all parties benefit from the services being provided. We also want to remove the stigma attached to lower value claim validation by raising the bar on both professionalism and certification.
Every claims handler at KeyGeni will have a minimum Cert CII qualification. A unique measuring system will also ensure only the best surveyors interact with your customers, providing a best in class service.
We will charge fair, fixed fees for our services and be completely transparent on our earnings, added to this we will encourage our employees charity work with paid charity days and share our successes with all those involved.
We are bringing to market technology built specifically for validation. Developed locally and owned by KeyGeni, delays for changes and upgrades will be a thing of the past. Three extra market firsts are in development and will launch soon ensuring that KeyGeni is constantly providing innovation to our clients.

Providing customers and clients with the confidence that claims will be resolved fairly and without delay. By engaging our surveyor field force in the correct way we have seen a huge demand to be on our panel ensuring that we are ready for growth and volume peaks when required.
We have used the experience within the business to develop bespoke, market leading software for claims handling. We use the latest video, IOS and Android technology which allows customers to tailor inspections and not use the current one size fits all approach, our clients can affect change to processes and inspections within minutes. Our desktop validation software can be leased as a stand alone service or combined with other services from the group, reducing the overall costs and potentially providing you with this market leading software free of charge.
Our unique two stage audits will ensure your chosen builders are completing work to a high level and at the correct cost. Contractors should be provided with a fair and accurate scope of works and in return our clients can expect market leading satisfaction levels and overall claim values. If this isn't the case then we will refund our fees to you, best in class means best in class.
We can provide on-site or off-site accredited training to your claim handlers. Helping you to ensure that where necessary claims can be settled without the need for the supply chain, reducing life-cycles whilst ensuring correct and fair settlements.
Our experienced team are on hand to assist in revitalising your claims centres. We have already seen successful partnerships for new desktop teams and software launches in 2019.
